We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and hard working cleaner to join our Aged Care team at Andrews House, in Trafalgar. The role of the cleaner at Andrews House involves cleaning communal areas, resident rooms, bathrooms and other areas.

This role works closely and collaboratively with nurses and other specialty areas within the team. The role requires a cleaner who can work as part of a team, and independently. They must be able to follow instructions and complete daily tasks. 

Andrews House is a Public Residential Aged Care Facility and are proud to have a 4 out of 5-star rating. We are compliant with accreditation and pride ourselves on the quality of care that residents receive.

We have permanent part time hours available up to 28 per week. The successful applicants will work a rotating and flexible roster. All shifts are 8 hours in duration.

The following experience/qualifications would be also considered advantageous:

  • Previous experience in cleaning and working in an Aged Care facility
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work under direction and supervision
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to undertake a variety of duties within your daily routine

IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
