An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our COVID-19 Screening Service.

The COVID-19 Ward Clerk willprovide accurate information and advice to the public regarding COVID19.  Your role will be booking appointments for COVID clinic and vaccinations, general information, results review, support via phone consultations and other follow-ups. The ward clerk will make bookings, take general enquiries and follow-up from any web-tool assessments and outcomes.

Essential Knowledge and skills:

  • MedTrak outpatient booking experience.

  • Basic Excel Spreadsheet skills

  • A commitment to Austin Health values

  • Well-developed communication skills including professional telephone technique.

  • Customer service and teamwork experience

  • Sound administrative skills

  • Basic IT skills

  • An understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality

  • Flexibility and reliability

  • Professional presentation
