About the Role


 The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is a vital tool to the organisation. The role of Clinical Application Support Officer is to ensure end users are constantly supported and systems are functional at the point of care.


This role is to support organisational objectives for ongoing EMR maintenance and enhancement including but not limited to, by conducting systems testing and configuration, executing and writing test scripts to ensure all gaps are covered prior go live.


You would ideally have experience working in public hospital setting and involved in system development, to map out workflows and identify the cause of an issue promptly. Good communication and interpersonnel skills are essential as the role will encompass a great deal of engagement with different level of staff and vendor, provision of training and the handling of requests for change.


As part of the Clinical Informatics team, your duties span across the use of numerous clinical applications (e.g. i.PM, BOSSNet) for troubleshooting and responding to requests lodged via different channels, including phone call and email. 



All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check, a working with children check (if applicable) and evidence of vaccination status All staff must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses) and for clinical staff, patient facing staff and staff working in clinical areas it is a mandatory requirement to provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination.
