About the facility
Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. The centre includes a 100 bed inpatient facility and community rehabilitation centre offering rehabilitation in Stroke, Trauma, Orthopaedic, Amputee, Palliative care, and Geriatric evaluation and management. The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.
As the successful applicant will be responsible for providing neuropsychological assessment and client-centred intervention within the rehabilitation centre. You will also assist the rehabilitation team to maximize the efficacy of the full range of rehabilitation interventions delivered. You will be well supported with supervision (both one-on-one and access to peer supervision) to further your skills and experience.
Applicants who are registered as a general psychologist and are looking to undertake the registrar program for clinical endorsement are welcome to apply.
