About the Role
The role is designed for a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Educator with post graduate Neonatal Intensive Care qualifications (or equivalent) who is keen to work in an education team to assist the Western Health Newborn Services Unit deliver Level 6A neonatal capability.
You would be responsible for supporting and developing the Post-graduate NIC students in Newborn Services at Western Health as well as other graduate program participants rotating through Newborn Services, and for developing, co-ordinating, implementing and evaluating training and education programs to support the existing Newborn Services team deliver Level 6A neonatal service. You would also be required to contribute to and/or develop and review new and existing neonatal policies, procedures and· guidelines in collaboration with the Neonatal Services Development Manager and the Clinical Practice Improvement Specialist (Neonatal).
Will have registration as an RN or RN/RM with AHPRA
