Exciting opportunity for experienced Educator to join MHVL Learning Team at Mercy Hospital for Women in a permanent part time position. As the champion of education you will be responsible for developing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating learning activities in the emergency department.

- To provide educational leadership and guidance to enable the development of knowledge and skill for all nursing and midwifery staff and learners.
- The clinical educator works in partnership with Learning Team and Emergency Department to ensure continuing professional development activities are in line with the delivery of clinical excellence.
- Identifies and prioritises the professional development needs of nursing and midwifery staff and learners.
ABOUT YOU:
- Seeking enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Nursing and Midwifery Educator
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Midwife
- Postgraduate qualifications and clinical experience in area of clinical practice
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Recent education experience

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women’s health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
The emergency department provides care for women who present with problems occurring in early pregnancy, and the antenatal and postnatal periods. We also care for women with acute gynaecological problems and neonates up to 2 weeks old.
