The Pharmacy Department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to all patients of the Women's.  Our major areas of focus are the safe use of medicine, quality use of medicines and providing information as required to consumers and health care professionals.  We work closely with nursing and midwifery staff, medical staff and allied health professionals as part of the multidisciplinary team caring for our patients.  The Pharmacy has a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement to ensure we are delivering services safely and efficiently and providing exceptional patient care.


Your contribution  



  • We seek a keen and enthusiastic pharmacist with initiative, to join our professional and friendly team.

  • Dedicate and extend your clinical knowledge and skills to making a difference in the care of women and newborns.

  • The successful applicant will participate in a wide range of pharmacy services in all areas of the department including the provision of clinical services to the obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatal wards.

  • Hospital experience as a clinical pharmacist will be desirable.

  • Excellent organization skills and demonstrated verbal & written communication and teaching skills will be highly desirable.


 About you


To be successful within this role you will need to have:



  • Registration to practice as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency
