About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking qualified Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team in a full time position. The role of the clinical pharmacist is an integral part of our growing team, which comprises of seventeen pharmacists, one intern, eight technicians and other related support staff. The applicant will participate in a highly functioning team, providing a regional service together with clinical ward pharmacy, drug information, inpatient, outpatient and antimicrobial stewardship rotations. The preparation of aseptic and chemotherapy products may also form part of the role. 

This is a permanent full time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO position. New graduates are also encouraged to apply for this position.

What you bring

The successful applicants must hold a recognised degree in Pharmacy from an approved tertiary institution and hold full current AHPRA registration. They must have the ability to produce a service of excellence by use of Quality Improvement techniques and be familiar with National Standards Accreditation requirements. Exposure to hospital pharmacy services is beneficial but not essential. Good time management and organisational skills are a must.
