An opportunity currently exists for Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist / Health Psychologist to work on a permanent part time basis (0.6 EFT) with the Acute / Subacute Inpatient Service at Western Health.  This service provides consultancy to a number of wards including the Intensive Care Unit, acute general medical and surgical units, coronary care, and sub-specialty medical and surgical services.

The Clinical Psychologist / Health Psychologist will work alongside Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff, to provide Best Care for the community of the West.  In this role, you will also work alongside other Psychologists in the broader Acute / Subacute Inpatient Services – which includes a Neuropsychology, Health Psychology and Clinical Psychology.

In this role you will play a key clinical role in providing highly skilled psychological assessment, individual and group interventions, and psychoeducation, and work alongside a team of passionate and highly-skilled Psychologists at Western Health.  Depending on your experience, support of postgraduate trainees on fieldwork placement may also be required.
