Applications are sought from suitable Registered Nurses to work in the Education Department at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct clinical support and instruction to undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, newly appointed or less experienced employees to develop high quality clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nurse Educator, to provide individualized learning support to postgraduates.
  • Participate in the ward orientation of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, new employees and less experienced staff.
  • Identify, support and role model effective clinical preceptorship and supervision.
  • Support learners completing mandatory training via the learning management system, and other competency based learning packages within the ward or department.
  • Develop personally and professionally through networking and maintaining up to date knowledge on health issues, practices and technology.
  • Support the Education Department to meet the needs of the ERH Education Department’s Strategic Plan.

Our team requires someone who has:

  • Proven experience working in Acute nursing or similar 
  • Solid clinical assessment skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skill
  • High level interpersonal skills

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant) provision of a Working With Children Check and check on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme prior to appointment.  In addition, this position requires evidence of vaccination status for COVID-19.
