About the facility 

MHDAS provides integrated and recovery orientated mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and / or drug and alcohol issues, and their families.

Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are consumer centred, accessible and family inclusive. We are fortunate to enjoy excellent internal relationships and have developed excellent partnerships with the local community that provide for seamless integrated care for our consumers and their families. 

About the role

MHDAS is seeking a clinician with qualifications in Occupational Therapy (Gr 2), Social Work (Gr 2), Psychology (Gr 2) or Psychiatric Nursing (Gr 3) to join the Therapy Program.

The MHDAS Therapy Program Clinician’s primary objectives are to:

  • Provide specialised assessments and therapies for MHDAS consumers in line with consumers' care and treatment plans

  • Participate in service quality improvement within the Therapy Program and across MHDAS

  • Contribute to increasing capacity across MHDAS to utilise and deliver specialist assessment and therapies
