We are looking for a Communications Adviser to support the Victorian Government's response to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Multicultural Coronavirus Response Team supports the operations and activities of the CALD Communities Taskforce. Through a coordinated whole-of-Victorian Government approach, the team delivers communications, community engagement, funding and procurement activities to address the key health emergency challenges in multicultural communities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

As the Communications Adviser, you will collaborate across government, critical service providers and community organisations to deliver digital content production and outreach initiatives, establish new communication channels, improve the accuracy and accessibility of translated information and implement communications strategies to engage multicultural communities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communications and media skills with the ability to build highly effective relationships, influence stakeholders (government and non-government) and work effectively in a team environment.

Previous experience in any Fairer Victoria policy area would be an advantage but is not essential.
