Regulatory Programs and Services (RPS) is a Division of the Department of Transport, that supports the delivery of registration and licensing and other regulatory operational services, including compliance and assurance for road transport regulation underpinning safety and productivity in Victoria. The Division has the responsibility and oversight of managing the VicRoads Concession Deed of the joint venture partner relationship for the delivery of registration and licensing and custom plates services, managing data sharing and access of the driver and vehicle register for Victoria which includes the protection of confidential customer data on behalf of the State.

  • Annual Salary Range: VPS4 $90,067 - $102,192

  • Usual Work Location: Kew / Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

About the Team

Provides strategy, planning and performance for the Division including regulatory portfolio strategy, governance, financial planning and performanceSupports Ministerial and Executive services and escalated complaints management, including internal reviews.

About the Opportunity

Under the broad supervision of the Senior Stakeholder Relationship Manager, the Communications and Change Coordinator supports internal communications activities across the division ensuring effective communication of changes and initiatives. This role will work with change managers to support communications and change actives at a high level to ensure centralised oversight of change and communications.

About you

The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships along with the ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders to achieve successful change and communications solutions and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare, edit and proofread a broad variety of communications materials designed to meet different stakeholder requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of change principles, practices, methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, tailoring and effectively executing change and communications plans and associated artefacts
  • Demonstrate the ability to be adaptable, flexible and responsive to organisational change
