Community Clinician - Aged Persons Mental Health

Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified clinician to join the Aged Persons Community Mental Health team, located in Sale on a full time/part time basis.

Reporting to the Team Manager this role plays an important part in providing key support services to older members of the Gippsland community through comprehensive needs assessment, case management and care coordination.

You’ll enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and be qualified as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health Post Graduate), Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist. Ideally you’ll have experience in aged care mental health and / or community mental health and have the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!
