Position Title: Community Mental Health Engagement Worker
Classification: NP11, PE11, YB13, YC35
Salary per hour (exc. super): $28.65-$32.47
Hours per fortnight: 80 (including monthly ADO)
Employment Status: Full Time Fixed Term (12 months)

Role Description
The position of a Community Mental Health Engagement Worker (CMHEW) is for newly graduated Nursing (Registered and Enrolled), Social Work or Occupational Therapy health professionals and will be community based within the Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. The CMHEW will proactively engage with patients (and their families and carers if applicable) to support their connection with the mental health and wellbeing service and navigation of the complex mental health and wellbeing, general health and social services systems.
The Team
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
