Community - Mental Health Clinicians
Are you an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist or Mental Health Nurse looking for a rewarding career in mental health?
Do you want to be part of shaping the next 20 years of delivering the highest quality mental health care in Victoria?
Thoughts from an early career Mental Health Clinician: “Working at Eastern Health has been a rewarding experience, as I have continued to thrive in a multidisciplinary team with likeminded colleagues, who share a common goal of equipping vulnerable children and families with support for a better trajectory and improved social, emotional and behavioural wellbeing. As a clinician, I have had the opportunity to build on my skills as a case manager, in addition to attending an array of professional developments about trauma and interventions to strengthen functioning. I have also thoroughly enjoyed developing my own understanding of complex client presentations and working collaboratively with other services in the community to improve the mental health of consumers”.
We are seeking to transform the way we work to support our community and substantially expand our services by aligning with the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. We have opportunities in our Adult & Older Adult streams.
