Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) is the major provider of specialist health services in the Gippsland region, east of Melbourne. 

LRH is the regional provider of mental health services in Gippsland. LRH Mental Health Service operates an integrated specialist mental health program across the region and provides inpatient and community mental health care for adults, children and young people and older persons. Gippsland provides a fantastic regional lifestyle with easy access to Melbourne. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new graduate Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist, to join the Mental Health team at in Bairnsdale on a full time basis for 80 hours per fortnight.

Reporting to the Team Manager for Bairnsdale Community Mental Health the successful applicant will play an important role in assisting consumers and their families (wherever possible) to navigate the complex mental health system.

The successful applicant will be required to: provide support for consumers, and their carers in helping them solve practical problems related to their health and well being. Aid them in getting to their appointments, assist in linking in with, and accessing a broad range of human services.
