Consultant Anaesthetist

(76 hours per fortnight)

We are seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join our dedicated team at Grampians Health - Horsham & Dimboola Campuses. This permanent full time position is available for immediate start and includes working Monday to Friday with participation in an on-call roster.  This role involves providing specialist anaesthetics services of the highest possible standard to ensure optimum, safe medical care outcomes working in a highly collaborative manner with medical, nursing and other health care team members.

Key Selection Criteria include:

Essential:

• Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA)


• MBBS or equivalent degree


• Full general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)


• Experience in clinical anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties, including paediatrics and obstetrics

Desirable:

• Experience in anaesthetic service provision in a regional environment
