Clinical Haematology is a vibrant multi-disciplinary service providing advanced care and research opportunities in all aspects of haematology.
We seek applications from suitably qualified, vibrant and enthusiastic Clinical Haematologist (FRACP or equivalent) for a substantive appointment within our service. We are offering a total of 0.8 EFT in our service.
The position would suit those with a career interest in academic clinical haematology with expertise in indolent lymphoproliferative disorders. Applicants are sought who have a desire to work as part of a strong collaborative multi-disciplinary team. Prior experience in clinical trials and a higher research degree (MD or PhD) would be advantageous.
The successful applicant(s) will have direct patient care responsibility including participation in ward service, on-call roster, be involved in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and will be supported in developing their own research activities.
There are opportunities for collaborative links with affiliated precinct basic research laboratories and academic appointment through University of Melbourne for appropriately qualified applicants.
