About Mental Health at Monash
Monash Health provides mental health services across all ages and across a wide geographical area of south-east Melbourne. The service is divided into 6 clinical `units' each operating integrated inpatient and community services. The Units comprise Early in Life Mental Health Service, Young Person's Mental Health Service, Casey Adult, Dandenong Adult, Monash (Clayton) Adult, and Aged Mental Health Services.

About the Role
This role as a Consultant Psychiatrist is based in the Community Mental Health team in the Dandenong area. The position will provide clinical leadership to oversee the management of community patients, inpatients, supervise junior medical staff and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act. These additional roles include participation in the after-hours on call and ECT rosters.
The position holder will be supported by senior registrar, registrars, junior medical staff and the multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, OTs, social workers, psychologist, drugs and alcohol worker and other support staff.
