About Casey Adult Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
The Casey Adult Mental Health Service (Casey AMHS) provides individualised, consumer centred care for adults aged 18 – 65 years living in the City of Casey and the Shire of Cardinia, aiming to improve mental health and wellbeing,
Casey AMHS comprises the entire spectrum of care with Emergency Psychiatric Services, Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team, PACER, Hospital in the Home team, Inpatient Psychiatric Units (Ward D and E) based at Casey Hospital, CCT based at Pakenham and Cranbourne, Acute and Extended PARCS, State-wide Transition Support Unit and the Adult Mental Health and Intellectual Disability Initiative.
Teams at the Casey AMHS are multidisciplinary in nature. The consultant psychiatrist will provide medical leadership at the team level and support & assist the Unit Head, Casey AMHS in the provision of high-quality psychiatry services, consistent with the Monash Health values.
