Consultation Liaison Mental Health Nurse 

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Hospital are looking for a Consultation Liaison Mental Health Nurse to join our Warragul Community Mental Health team on a full time, ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Team Manager, the ConsultationLiaison Mental Health Nurse plays an important role in providing expert psychiatric nursing consultation to general hospital staff of West Gippsland Hospital.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary framework
  • High level of clinical knowledge, skills and experience
  • Capacity to work independentlyin completion of assessments and holistic care planning for patients with mental health problems
  • Sound knowledge of the Victorian MHA 2014 and a developing understanding of the new MH & Wellbeing ACT 2022
  • Capacity to contribute and deliver education, training and professional leadership across LRH and with our partnership services in West Gippsland
