KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

1. Demonstrated understanding of patient, carer, consumer & volunteer participation in healthcare including relevant guidelines and frameworks.
2. Experience with project management with proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate specific projects.
3. Proven record of establishing data collection processes and ability to analyse data/results.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including production of high level reports and publications and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
5. Highly developed relationship management skills, including the ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Desirable

1. Relevant tertiary qualification in health, human services or community field.
2. Experience in a consumer/community/volunteer related role or position.
3. An awareness of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and Department of Health policy and guidelines relevant to patient, carer and consumer participation.
