Contracts don't come much bigger than for the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history. Our team continues to grow to support the needs of this iconic project and are looking to welcome a passionate, accountable and relationship focussed Contract Manager to partner with our project teams, find solutions and achieve individual, team and organisational success.

  • $15.8bn infrastructure project boosting the Victorian economy
  • Support the commercial and contractual management of major NELP contracts
  • Fixed term 3 years

About the opportunity

The NEL project just keeps on trucking. We are looking for a willing, driven and proactive Contract Manager to join us as we move ahead with Victoria's iconic road project. Whilst infrastructure industry knowledge or experience would be beneficial, more importantly, someone who sees problems as opportunities and is persistent and collaborative, will achieve results and satisfaction in this role.

Capitalizing on your experience from a similar commercial role, you are someone who;

  • seeks out high pressure environments and tight timelines without compromising on the quality or integrity of your work,
  • is highly adept at forging and strengthening stakeholder relationships to elicit, clarify and translate technical or complex information and;
  • is confident, collaborative and commercially minded in making recommendations for continuous improvement, business efficiencies or opportunities to enhance the commercial state of the North East Link Project.

Overseeing all contract administration functions and compliance activities including the development of documentation and briefs, this role offers you broad scope to engage with private and public technical teams. You will also support senior Commercial team members in the preparation for key contract negotiations, advise on and make recommendations that help deliver high quality, consistent commercial outcomes for the Project.

Accountable for a wide range of commercial and contract development and management activities including tender preparation, evaluation and project cost control, you will rely on exceptional written skills and expertise applying your knowledge of commercial and contractual obligations, which will contribute to significant economy boosting initiatives.

Benefits
Our commitment to creating a workplace that inspires you, engages you and grows you is strong – we want you to be a powerful contributor to this wonderfully diverse and dynamic organisation. Our offering continues to grow but here is what we already have in store for you:

  • Established wellbeing program.
  • 17.5% leave loading.
  • Ongoing commitment to flexible work arrangements available (including ability to purchase additional leave) that will run beyond current Covid-19 enforced remote working.

Applications close at 11:59pm on Sunday 29th November.

There is no need to provide additional information regarding key selection criteria.
