About us

Corrections Victoria's purpose is to deliver an effective corrections system for a safe community. Community Correctional Services (CCS), is overseen by Corrections Victoria, a division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety. CCS is responsible for the management and supervision of prisoners on parole, offenders under post sentence supervision and court orders.

Community Correctional Services is currently experiencing rapid growth in the offender population. In response to this, Corrections Victoria will embed evidence-based practice across all areas of our work and target responses to the areas that will allow the greatest impacts to be made. This approach will contribute to a safer community and strengthen CCS for the future.

About the role

Based in Warrnambool, you will oversee and develop key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, that foster positive interactions and promote the achievement of stakeholder expectations. Youwill develop and monitor a range of performance metrics to ensure the achievement of local justice services and Regionalisation objectives within their local area

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of Community Correctional Services
  • Demonstrated experience in the co-ordination of operational service delivery across a variety of business units and program areas, including service performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective community engagement activities.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of operational advice and support to executive management.

A relevant qualification in social work, human services or criminal justice discipline, with work experience in a similar field is also desirable.
