About the role:

Join the dynamic and results driven Systems and Controls team to help LXRP reshape and revitalise the landscape and lives of our communities. The role will report into the Senior Commercial Manager and closely collaborate with the accounts team. You will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and reporting all cost activities throughout the project lifecycle, as well as; 

  • Coordinating the planning and delivery of monthly financial reports.
  • Reviewing cost processes and forecasts, with the aim to identify and mitigate risks, as well as improve systems.
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of project data through the maintenance and management of the Projects Controls System.
  • Overseeing the management of the Contracts Variation Registration.

 

About you

You have a strong sense of purpose in helping the LXRP deliver on transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel. You will be highly experienced in managing and reporting large project costings, with exposure to a major transport infrastructure project highly desirable.

 We encourage all candidates with the below attributes to apply:

  • Sound understanding of large project cost control analysis, processes, and techniques such as time-phased budgets, deviation reporting, contract compliance review and cost forecasting. 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar (mandatory for this role)
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles from a project perspective, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of EcoSys reporting system is desirable, but not essential.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are also paramount to the role, as all cost reporting must be documented accurately and in a timely manner.
