About the role

An opportunity exists at Turning Point Eastern Treatment Service for an experienced AOD counsellor to work as a member of integrated health team, with a focus on providing goal directed care that promotes clients’ recovery, wellness and active participation in decisions about their care. Counsellors are required to assess, counsel, treat, educate and refer clients and their families using best-practice treatment strategies. The position will operate from our Ringwood East site.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Qualifications in counselling


• Certificate IV in AOD studies


• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Excellent communication and organisational skills
