About the role and your responsibilities:  

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for a customer, including members of the public and Victorian community. Customer Services Officers professionally handle information requests and ensure that issues and enquiries are resolved promptly and thoroughly. In this role you will evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact on the customer experience. Customer Services Officers may work in a retail environment and will be responsible for reliably managing monitory transactions. You will also have a knowledge and understanding of Parks in the area they are located and will be receptive to the customer's needs. You will represent Parks Victoria professionally at all times.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Excellent customer service, communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience or knowledge in working with community groups and park visitors
  • The ability to self-manage
  • A current employee Working with Children Check before commencing employment with us

About the branch:

The Commercial Directorate manages Parks Victoria's visitor based, revenue-generating activities at key regional and metropolitan sites across Victoria.  The Directorate provides the strategies, specialist advice, business processes and systems to efficiently and effectively deliver core support services, enabling parks Victoria to enter into and manage all leases and licences (commercial, community and infrastructure) and other commercial activities over the parks estate.
