Parks Victoria are looking for a highly motivated Customer Service Officer to join the team at one of East Gippsland’s key tourism destination.

About the role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will provide front of house reception services for visitors to Banksia Bluff Campground including retail sales and bookings. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls and emails and assisting visitors in their enquires. You may also assist with the delivery of content for Parks Victoria's social media and promotional campaigns, and in issues management, following suitable training. In addition, you may also assist with interpretative activities such as the Junior Ranger program and with park operations.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A certificate or Diploma in tourism, business and/or equivalent experience or qualifications in a similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the internet and computer software.
