About the role:

The Data and Analytics Manager is a key leadership role promoting and coordinating an enterprise approach to data analysis and business intelligence. Leading a skilled team and working with analysts from across the Library, the Data and Analytics Manager will build a community of practice for analysis and deliver actionable insights demonstrating the value of using data in decision making. The Data and Analytics Manager is responsible for ongoing development of the Library's Azure data platform and the Library's SalesForce platform.

The Data and Analytics Manager is is responsible for the following measurable outcomes:

  • Delivering high quality, timely and actionable insights to inform decision-making;
  • Ongoing development and improvement of the Library's Azure data platform that enables the expansion of the Library's business intelligence capability;
  • A community of practice building analytical capability across the Library and leveraging analyst resources to deliver critical insights;
  • Ensuring an effective SalesForce platform that meets organisational need;
  • Timely, accurate and informative reporting to Creative Victoria, Board, Executive and Leadership Team.


About you:

You have a track record in driving and championing data-driven decision-making, supporting broader organisational transformation which deliver outcomes for community.

You will be able demonstrate solid technical experience with business intelligence tools and cloud technology as well as strong communication and advocacy skills.

Experience in data governance and an ability to convey complex insights in visual forms will be well regarded.
