Data and Automation Developer - Business Intelligence Department

Monash Health is seeking a Data and Automation Developer within its Automation and Analytics team in Business Intelligence.

This developer will maintain and develop business process automation tools and low-code apps used in a wide variety of areas across the health service.


  • Develop data and automation products aimed at improving business processes, generating insights or performing predictions.

  • Develop and maintain BI related products including reports and dashboards.

  • Pilot the use of new and emerging technologies within the broader standard application and reporting environment.

  • Work closely with team members to understand our datasets and the data warehouse environment.

  • Assist other team members in upskilling with new toolsets and technologies.

Key knowledge/experience requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate or other low-code/web-based automation and app development tools.

  • A solid understanding of application development methodologies and concepts.

  • Ability to work within a larger development team and collaborate on standards and procedures.

  • T-SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries against relational databases.

  • Exposure to PowerBI, Azure, and m365 platforms also desirable.
