The Data Applications Officer will work with DELWP, partner agencies, university providers and scientific institutions to gather and prepare data, facilitate data base curation, create spatial information products, and develop data application services for web mapping and dashboards.
We are seeking a Data Applications Officer to work with our biodiversity foundation data and information systems to develop web mapping services and dashboards for the Coastkit web portal. (https://mapshare.vic.gov.au/coastkit/). Coastkit is a knowledge manangement system to enable Victoria's marine and coastal data holdings to be made accessible. The role requires you to have experience in developing Python and Javascript applications (ArcPy, ArcGIS JS, OpenLayers) and interaction with middleware (ArcGIS Server, GeoServer).

This is a fixed term role available for 12 months.
