Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is one of Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. Our Safety and Quality unit provides support to the organisation in the areas of accreditation, incident and complaint management, medico-legal services, and consumer-centred care.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of the Safety Quality and Improvement Unit. As the Deputy Director Safety, Quality and Improvement – Patient Safety, you are responsible for the oversight and leadership of Patient Safety Systems for Barwon Health, including high level support of critical incidents management and review, including the support of Statutory Duty of Candour, identification of clinical risks and oversight of medico-legal functions.
