About the opportunity
The Deputy Director, Stations will be responsible for the management of a multi-billion-dollar Works Package Contract for the delivery of three underground stations for the Suburban Rail Loop East project. Reporting to the Package Director, Stations, this role provides the required project management, technical and commercial and contractual input to the successful tendering and delivery of the scope of works being managed.
This role will have key interfaces with the Deputy Package Directors for the other three underground stations contract, the two tunnelling and civils contracts and the Linewide and Operations contract.
The role delivers large scale programs of complex works through all phases from concept design, project tendering and award and construction delivery through to handover. Sound knowledge of the Australian infrastructure construction and design industry including the various forms of contracting models including alliance style contracts will be highly valuable in this role. Expertise in contracting in Australia in the construction of rail stations is desired but not mandatory. The ability to build and maintain high-level influential relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders will be an imperative component to this role.
