HOURS:            36.0 hours per fortnight                                              

A rare opportunity has arisen at BRHS to gain a senior role and lead our dedicated and skilled Dietetics team.  This is a great chance to progress your career in a Grade 3 position and grow your management skills and experience by leading a fantastic team.

The Position:

In this role you will:

  • Provide effective leadership and management of the Dietetics team.
  • Lead the development and implementation of efficient effective models of care.
  • Provide strong clinical leadership to support improved health outcomes for clients.
  • Coordinate the resourcing of dietetic services within the acute setting.
  • Provide a high level of clinical supervision to the Grade 1 and 2 clinicians.

The Department:

Our small and committed Dietetics team works cohesively to provide services to acute inpatients (including the Dialysis and Day Chemotherapy Units), inpatient rehabilitation, outpatients, aged care and community health programs including cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation and diabetes groups.

What you need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics with Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective leadership and build capability within the team.
  • Extensive clinical experience and specialist dietetics knowledge in a hospital/and or in a community setting with demonstrated clinical skills in all of the clinical areas of practise.
  • Demonstrated capacity and experience in high level problem solving and clinical decision making.
