Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) is the Victorian Government body responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, Melbourne Airport Rail and the Western Rail Plan including fast rail between key regional cities and Melbourne. RPV is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning and development of the project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder engagement, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning. Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) comprises of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Rail Projects Victoria (RPV, MTIA), North East Link Project (NELP), West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP) and Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV).
About the opportunity
RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Digital Engineering Systems Coordinator (BIM/CAD) to configure, manage and administer RPV's Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) content held in the organisation's Common Data Environment. This role will be responsible for administering and supporting RPV's ProjectWise platform, as well as RPV's Revizto design coordination platform.
Reporting to RPV's BIM and CAD Administrator, you will work across projects such as the Metro Tunnel, Melbourne Airport Rail and Geelong Fast Rail. The role also has active involvement with the Digital Engineering team.
This role will require an ability to work in a complex and demanding environment within tight timeframes, providing specialist advice to senior internal and external stakeholders to guide engagement and build positive relationships.
