About COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria

COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV) is responsible for Victoria's COVID-19 accommodation response, including quarantine for returned overseas travellers and emergency accommodation for people unable to safely isolate in their homes.

About The Role


The People and Workforce business unit provides high quality human resources services to develop the capacity, culture, and capability of COVID Quarantine Victoria (CQV) to deliver critical quarantine services to the Victorian Community.

Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Organisational Development, you will be responsible for managing a team of Digital Training Developers and support staff ensuring a capable, competent, and agile team is developed and equipped to deliver on CQVs learning and workforce development needs.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Coach and upskill the Digital Learning Team and in the use the digital resources ensuring sustainability of initiatives.
  • Scope, design and facilitate digital learning programs with a key focus on Hotel Quarantine and Victorian Quarantine Hub staff.
  • Lead the instructional design end to end process for blended delivery.
  • Partner with other areas of People and Workforce Services to develop and support integrated HR services and programs.

About You

You are an expert in digital learning and will bring strong leadership capability as well as the following qualifications and experience;

  • Relevant experience and qualifications in the field of digital learning, adult education and/or training is essential.
  • Extensive experience in the development and delivery of digital learning frameworks, strategies, processes and standards for surge or remote workforces.
  • Strong eLearning capabilities using various eLearning authoring software, applications, MS Office suite and emerging technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating to groups using a live training environment.
  • Travel will be required to various CBD, Mickleham, and Airport Accommodation sites, therefore a full and current driver's license is required.

You will need to be vaccinated for coronavirus, remain compliant with IPC procedures in place including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (and therefore being clean shaven) and participating in staff COVID-19 testing.

Out of hours contact, and weekend work, will be required from time to time.
