About The Role


Reporting to the Director Project Management Office (PMO) Digital Health Division, the Digital Program Manager is responsible for the hands-on management of a program of Digital Health projects across Monash Health. The role requires a program management professional that has extensive experience in the delivery of end-to-end programs, projects and related services including project health checks & audit, project performance improvement, and at-risk project management. The PMO has corporate level responsibility for providing program management, project management, and consulting to internal customers. The role is expected to be 85% hands-on program management and 15% PMO administration and executive reporting.


About You



  • Experience in delivering large scale enterprise-wide technology related programs

  • Experience in managing programs through the full life cycle from initiation to closing

  • Experience doing business analysis and writing business case

  •  Experience in managing programs and projects with large user migration

  • Able to go beyond just delivering the program, but to understand the business and add value to your stakeholders

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timeframes

  • Highly self-managing and able to set and work towards deadlines/milestones

  • insure program adheres to the program governance framework

  • Experience in managing change within a 24x7 environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries to build strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and team members, and facilitate solution development

  • Exceptional ability to negotiate and influence others

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in working with and presenting to all levels of the business up to Senior Executive

  • Highly developed problem-solving skills Highly skilled

  • in Office Suite (especially Microsoft Project)

  •  A high degree of initiative and self-motivation

  • Experience recruiting, mentoring and developing staff

  • Able to be flexible and adaptable, especially in a changing environment

  • Enjoy working with non-IT customers and providing excellent program management service


What you Need



  •  Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional/business experience

  • Certification in a Project Management methodology (PRINCE2 or PMI)
