The Digital Twin Victoria (DTV) team are on the look-out for talented, passionate people to join our growing team. Over the next three years DTV will be building the most comprehensive collection of rich, 3D spatial data ever assembled for Victoria.

This exciting new role will play a critical role in the programs' success by:

• Roadmaping and implementing recommendations associated with; underlying design standards, data formats, analytics features, toolsets, data hosting arrangements, data authentication processes, performance, quality, security, financial, functional and non-functional, requirements.
• Delivering end-to-end project support, including understanding and documenting requirements, problem solving, maintaining consistent communication, and supporting stakeholders in the use and management of the Digital Twin Victoria platform.
• Leading the capture and synthesis of user requirements, user stories, issues and defects from a range of internal and external stakeholders in multiple disciplines (i.e. land development and subdivision, surveying, planning, utilities, infrastructure construction/management, transport and logistics, and environment).
• Working collaboratively across government departments and with external suppliers to identify where geospatial data could be leveraged by government and private stakeholders to support the delivery of the DTV benefits: reduce duplication and increase government ROI in digital investment.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• Formal qualification in a geospatial science is required.
• Experience or at least technical understanding of the following technologies is required: FME, ArcGIS, RESTful web service, geospatial programming languages is highly desirable.
• A working history and technical knowledge of 3D geospatial data including as terrain models, 3D buildings/meshs/object models, point clouds, imagery, BIM/CAD (IFC, Revit, Navisworks, Bently, 12D) and 3D visualisation tools (such as unity, Cesium) is desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 years.
