SES 1 Director, Early Learning Participation Branch

The Early Childhood Education group (ECE) plays a key role in operational policy development, service program design and commissioning to ensure a child and family centred outcomes focused integrated system. ECE oversees and works with partners to support the funded kindergarten sector, regulates early childhood education and care services and implements relevant legislative reforms to create a comprehensive, integrated and equitable system.

Under the leadership of the Executive Director, Early Learning Practice and Participation Division, the role will work closely with leaders across ECE, the Department and other Victorian agencies including the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing to deliver on key early learning initiatives and reforms that support participation, attendance and inclusion, particularly for vulnerable children
