About the organisation

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) plays a critical role in ensuring all Victorians are connected to the democratic process. The VEC conducts parliamentary, local government, and certain statutory elections, and maintains the Victorian register of electors. The organisation also promotes public awareness and education of key electoral issues and administers Victoria's political funding and donations disclosure rules. About the role

The Director, Elections is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of State Parliamentary, Local Government and fee-for-service elections. Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner and a key member of the Executive Management Group, the Director will work collaboratively across the organisation at the highest level. The Director leads a broad, large-scale range of practical, highly visible and regulated activities across project management, operations and client services for the VEC, including enforcement of compulsory voting and ensuring access and participation.
