Director, Fair Jobs Code

The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) is seeking to appoint a Director, Fair Jobs Code to lead the establishment, implementation, and on-going operations and management of the Fair Jobs Code (FJC) project, ensuring that Victorian businesses seeking to contribute to the delivery of Victorian Government projects or applying for significant industry grants are doing the right thing by their employees and are recognised and rewarded for doing so.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Industry Development and Participation, this role leads a multi-disciplinary team to manage the operations of the FJC including launch and implementation, development and delivery of administrative systems, governance structures and enabling IT systems.

In this position you will forge strategic relationships with key stakeholders across government and industry, as well as provide high-level authoritative advice for Ministers, senior level executives, and industry stakeholders on the launch and on-going operations of the FJC.

An inspiring and collaborative leader you will have a deep understanding of the Victorian Government's objectives and priorities in the context of employment and economic growth, and demonstrated experience working in government and in leading and delivering strategic initiatives, key priority programs, and advisory and policy services.

A proven track record of achievement in implementing innovative programs and strategic initiatives will see you succeed in this role.
