POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, Legal and Regulatory Reform and Policy, leads health regulation policy design, promotes contemporary regulatory practice across the department's regulators, and manages the department's relationship with independent portfolio commissioners, statutory panels and tribunals.

The Director seeks to improve the quality of health legislation and regulation and stewards and coordinates health legal policy and regulatory reform work undertaken by the department.  The Director is responsible for managing key health entity relationships and provides effective governance support for cemetery trusts in Victoria.
