The Director Ticketing & Corporate Hospitality will lead the team responsible for developing and implementing world leading strategies across ticketing and corporate hospitality, and managing the end to end ticketing operations for the 2026 Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games – an international, multi-sport event involving athletes from the 72 member nations of the Commonwealth – is coming to Victoria in 2026.

Millions worldwide will watch the thriving regional centres of Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Gippsland and Shepparton host a jam-packed schedule of 20 sports, nine para sports, the Games ceremonies and festival program that together will showcase the best of Regional Victoria.

The Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (Victoria 2026) will deliver the Games. As a joint venture between the State of Victoria, the Commonwealth Games Federation and Commonwealth Games Australia, it is tasked with organising a world-class event for athletes, spectators, locals and the Commonwealth of Nations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Commercial, this role will be responsible for: 

• Leading the team responsible for developing and implementing world leading strategies across ticketing and corporate hospitality
• Ensuring all planning milestones for the ticketing and corporate hospitality functions are identified, implemented and monitored with risks identified and mitigations in place
• Engage optimal partners to deliver the 2026 Victoria Commonwealth Games ticketing program including leading the procurement for the Games ticketing provider
• Ensure the development, set and management of event builds including all pricing, product, seating plans, venue configuration and venue maps for all Games venues
• Working closely with the Communications & Marketing team to strive to achieve the ultimate goal, being sold out venues across the Games

To be successful in this role, you will be: 

• Experienced in developing and implementing ticketing and corporate hospitality strategies to maximise attendance and revenue for a major global sporting event
• Familiar with the ticketing life cycle and proven ability to partner with Marketing to ensure appropriate sales strategies for each stage
• Passionate about data analytics to support sales execution
• Skilled at ensuring ticketing and corporate hospitality operations are seamless at Games time
• Able to lead and motivate a high performing sales team, focussed on results
