About the Role

As a member of the Mental Health Program Senior Leadership Group you would be involved in a range of senior roles including:

  • Upholding the vision, goals and participating as a leader in the strategic directions of the Mental Health Program.

  • Leading the professional governance for all social workers employed in mental health services.

  • Developing and implementing workforce plans for social work.

  • Coordinating and evaluating appropriate discipline specific evidence-based clinical interventions including resources.

  • Contributing to the development of the discipline and broader service development.

  • Working with the Director of Allied Health, Mental Health Program and Head of Profession Social Work to develop linkages within the Mental Health Program, Monash Health and Academic Institutions.

  • Providing senior clinical practice in complex and/or specialist consultation and assessment.
