Diversity and Inclusion - Senior Projects and Policy Officer

We are looking for an integral member of our workforce diversity and inclusion team - fixed term for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and develop your career while having a positive impact on the workplace culture at the Department of Education and Training.

You will be working with a small team in the People and Culture Unit to develop, plan and implement a range of diversity and inclusion policies, strategies, programs, and initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture that strives to reflect the diversity of the Victorian community.

This role involves strong project planning and management, writing for a range of purposes and audiences and collaboration across the organisation and externally.  You will have an ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritise workloads and be flexible with changing priorities. The current priorities for 2021 for the team are delivering the Disability Employment Plan, the Aboriginal Employment Plan and the development of the Gender Equality Action Plan, whilst also delivering on other diversity areas.
