About the Role

As the Donor Engagement Manager you will lead all internal and external communications strategies for the Monash Health Foundation. Reporting to the Head of Donor Relations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies to increase philanthropic support from our donors, engage staff and increase community awareness of the Monash Health Foundation.

The Donor Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing content for all communications tools and materials, including newsletters, annual reports, direct mail campaigns, Major Gift proposals and other fundraising and marketing collateral.

Working closely with the Monash Health Public Affairs and Communications Team, the Donor Engagement Manager will be the primary point of contact between the two departments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Monash Health Foundation’s communications strategies in support of the Monash Health Foundation’s Strategic Plan.

  • Develop guidelines for the Monash Health Foundation’s communications based on best practice fundraising and marketing communications, including digital.

  • Provide expert communications advice and support to the Monash Health Foundation.

  • Coordinate Monash Health Foundation’s communication tools.

  • Create content for Monash Health Foundation’s communications tools including: donor communications, direct mail, website, intranet, newsletters, eDMs events support material and varied other external publications.

  • Manage relationships with key external suppliers including mail houses, printers, designers, photographers and others.

What you need:

  • An undergraduate qualification, or an equivalent, alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • An understanding of the Australian philanthropic community

  • Experience in donor stewardship.
