Are you interested in working on arguably the most exciting digital innovation program in the Victorian public service right now?

The Digital Twin Victoria (DTV) team are on the look-out for talented, passionate people to join our growing team. Over the next three years DTV will be building the most comprehensive collection of rich, 3D spatial data ever assembled for Victoria.

This exciting new role will see you working with a diverse group of stakeholders from across the utilities and asset management ecosystems/supply chains to help define and deliver a range of industry redefining, silo breaking projects. You will primarily be focused on the interface between Digital Twin Victoria and Victoria's Big Build infrastructure projects while also on the lookout for wider Victorian positive economic impact opportunities. 

Reporting to both the Utilities and Asset Management workstream leads, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with and understand the scope, and outcomes inclusive of established and potential benefits of the utilities and asset management workstreams. This knowledge will enable you to map, manage and drive the process of refining the requirements to meet the workstream objectives.
  • Taking a leading engagement role with industry ecosystems/supply chains to understand their key challenges. This will include assisting in the establishment and facilitation of industry working groups.
  • Capturing and analysis of information including but not limited to mind maps, diagrams, multi criteria assessments and graphical summaries to help drive data driven decision making.  Documenting outcomes in detailed reporting and project execution frameworks that outline the commercial, functional, non-functional, user requirements, expectations and constraints.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Formal qualifications and/or significant experience in the delivery of projects in a Business Analyst role would be highly desirable.
  • Experience in the infrastructure/construction industry, utilities, asset management, Local, state, or federal government and/or digital technologies would be highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2024
