POSITION SUMMARY: Dual Disability Clinician  - Ongoing/Fulltime position

The Dual Disability Clinician will be required to manage the operation of the Community Forensic Dual Disability Clinic (CFDDC) at DFATS. The CFDDC is a small clinic operating one day per week, for community and residential clients with an intellectual disability and co-morbid mental illness who display risky anti-social behaviors. This clinic is a project between Forensicare and DFATS that is set up to respond to a recognised need for prevention, intervention and collaborative responses for people with dual diagnoses involved in the criminal justice system.

The Dual Disability Clinician is also responsible for supporting the consultant forensic psychiatrist and the registrar to complete assessments in a timely manner and may be required to deliver individual and group treatment programs run by DFATS.
