Epidermolysis Bullosa Clinical Nurse Consultant - Dermatology
The Dermatology Unit at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of the major Dermatology services in Australia. The unit deals with the care of complex patients with genetic, inflammatory and autoimmune skin disease. The unit is the central service for all adult EB patients in Victoria and has active teaching, training and clinical research programs. Where required Dermatologic patients are hospitalised under Medical Unit II and co-managed by the Dermatology team and patients requiring infusions and injections attend 5 West Day Medical Centre.
This role would suit someone with an EB, plastic surgery, wound management or paediatric dermatology background. Working with a highly engaged medical team, you will be supported to make the most of this role including participation in research projects, development of service and transition services.
